Una piccola manifattura in Ucraina, la Smart Helix è poco conosciuta.

Infatti il loro Apollo è uscito da qualche anno, quindi non esattamente una novità.

Il rasoio DE è tutto in acciaio AISI 304, e si presenta in due conformazioni:

• Apollo, una piastra con due gap (0.50 / 0.85)
• Apollo Light, due piastre più sottili con uguali gap

Sono disponibile anche le sole teste, ed è possibile aggiungere lo stand.
Per ogni modello il selezionatore offre piena modulabilità di scelta.
Passando da Apollo Light H (solo testa) per $130 ai modelli full optional per $275.
Light sono 10g in meno, rispetto ai 120 di Apollo.

Quello che mi ha colpito è la cura per il dettaglio.

Apollo H

Solid bar base plates and razor top cap are almost entirely handmade and they are adjusted to each other individually. The entire length of the razor blade is completely covered with the razor top cap. To make the shaving even more comfortable, the edges of the razor combs are cut at an angle. Generally speaking, the razor base plate and top cap are harness-satin textured. However, all edges and corners that directly contact the skin while shaving are polished. The elements of the SMART HELIX “APOLLO” razor head have the special geometry and made the hair cutting dynamics in the process of shaving the most optimal. The thin front edge of the solid bar razor base plate allows for most accurate shaping of a beard and mustache line.

Apollo Light H

The standard configuration of the razor head contains two base plates with different aggressiveness (blade gap: 0.5 and 0.85). Each of them is marked with a corresponding engraving on the reverse side: one line near the side for a smooth shave and two lines for an aggressive shave. The thin front edge of the solid bar razor base plate allows for most accurate shaping of a beard and mustache line.

In generale i fortunati possessori ne sono entrusiasti.
Infatti per ora la manifattura è ferma, per colpa della guerra in Ucraina.

Unico dettaglio che non trovo all'altezza del progetto è la confezione.
Molto ben realizzata, con taglio e scrittura al laser. Ma un po' cheap.
